Definitions
‘Apps’ means our mobile apps for Android and iOS.
‘AtlasBiomed’, ‘we’, ‘us’ or ‘our’ means Atlas Health Europe Limited, a company registered in England and Wales, with company registration number 10500868. Our registered office is at Tower Bridge House, St Katharine’s Way, London E1W 1DD.
‘Data Protection Legislation’ means the Data Protection Act 2018 and the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) or its successor or equivalent and all applicable laws and regulations relating to the processing of personal data and privacy.
‘Genetic Information’ – means information about the structure of proteins, encoded as a base sequence of nucleotides according to the genetic code.
‘Intellectual Property Rights’ means patents, rights to inventions, copyright and related rights, trade marks, trade names and domain names, rights in get-up, rights in goodwill or to sue for passing off, rights in designs, rights in computer software, database rights, rights in confidential information (including know-how and trade secrets) and any other intellectual property rights, in each case whether registered or unregistered and including all applications (or rights to apply) for, and renewals or extensions of, such rights and all similar or equivalent rights or forms of protection which may now or in the future subsist in any part of the world.
‘Personal Data’ is information that can be used to identify you, either alone or in combination with other information, as defined in the Data Protection Legislation. You can find out how AtlasBiomed collects and processes your personal data in our Privacy Policy.
‘Privacy Policy’ – means the privacy policy available at https://atlasbiomed.com/privacy, as updated from time to time.
‘R&D’ means research and development activities performed by AtlasBiomed or third parties on de-identified Genetic Information of a User. R&D may include, among other things, improving our Services and/or offering new products or Services to you; conducting analysis of data for the purposes of commercialisation (with or without a third party) and conducting quality control activities.
‘Service’ or ‘Services’ means AtlasBiomed’s Testing Services, collection and analysis of your saliva and/or stool samples, provision of saliva and stool testing kits (e.g. Atlas DNA Test), tracking solutions like our questionnaire and Apple Health integration, products, Services, provision of the Website and Apps (including but not limited to text, graphics, images, and other material and information) as accessed from time to time by the User, regardless if the use is in connection with an account or not.
‘Testing Services’ means AtlasBiomed’s genetic testing Services, analysis of your saliva and/or stool samples, and the results of the testing as presented in a report that will be available via your online personal account on the Website or Apps. When we speak about our Service or Services, this includes Testing Services.
‘Self-Reported Information’ – means any details shared with us by the User. It may include Personal Data and other information related to your health, lifestyle, traits, ethnicity, family history, and other information that you enter in surveys, forms or features while entering our Website or Apps. Self-Reported Information is used in AtlasBiomed R&D where consent has been given.
‘Website’ means atlasbiomed.co.uk, www.atlasbiomed.co.uk, atlasbiomed.com,atlasbiomed.co.uk.
‘User’, ‘you’, or ‘your’ means you, and the person being authorised to use our Services by agreeing to these terms and conditions.
‘User Content’ - all other information provided by Users to or via the Services not including Genetic Information and Self-Reported Information.
